Yay! It’s a new year (still, right?), which means a SLEW of new couples taking the plunge and planning their upcoming nuptials. That also means that engagement photo season is upon us, which is always a ridiculously frantic time as photographers try and cram in all of their clients into the 2-week span they are all simultaneously requesting. Texas weather is to blame for that one. Fortunately, I’ve been blessed with a few clients who decided to have their session before the crazy rush.
Every year I get quite a few brides and grooms who ask “What is your favorite place to shoot?” The answer is ALWAYS Lee Park, in Uptown Dallas. It’s quiet (even during rush hour traffic), provides a number of different spots for great photos and I just can’t remember the last time I had a “bad” session there. Yay for that! This couple decided to start at the Fine Arts District with more formal attire, and switch into a more casual outfit for Lee Park.
