Every year I shoot at the same venues over and over again. It’s fantastic for my clients’ peace of mind, knowing that I am familiar with their venue, but it rarely results in “new” work for my portfolio. New venues are opportunities for me to try new things, network with other coordinators and at the end of the day get inspired by the aesthetics of a new venue. eM The Venue was one such place, with its clean lines and contemporary build out acting as a nice contrast to some of the other venues I have been shooting at recently. Such new venues create a heightened sense of creativity on my end, wanting to bring out the strengths of the venue as it gives me a fantastic idea of what the client is looking for in their photos. Here are some of my favorite shots from the bride’s getting ready to the exit shot.
